Jennifer has been working in college counseling since 1997, when she first started at The Portledge School in Locust Valley, New York. After moving to Santa Fe, she worked as Director of College Counseling at Santa Fe Prep for twelve years. Currently, she is the part-time college counselor at Desert Academy in Santa Fe. Prior to her career change to college counseling, Jennifer worked for about a decade as a college administrator in Residential Life and Student Services. In her last college administrative position, she was Coordinator for Undergraduate Housing at Princeton University for three years. And before then she worked at Oberlin, Wheaton (MA), Lesley, and Green Mountain Colleges.
Jennifer has her master's degree in Counseling Process from Harvard University, and her undergraduate degree from Smith College. She also has a Certificate in Financial Planning from New York University.
As a professional, she continually works to update her skills and knowledge base by attending professional development conferences and visiting college campuses. She is a member of Rocky Mountain Association of College Admissions Counselors (RMACAC), the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC), Independent Educational Counselors Association, and the Higher Education Consultants Association.
